Dr. Robert Cockrell is a physician, and clinical researcher with more than five decades of experience in clinical medicine, biomedical research, and the science of healthy aging.

 

He practiced medicine for more than 35 years, primarily in family and emergency medicine. He has extensive experience as a Principal Investigator in FDA approved new drug clinical trials. His biotechnology experience includes serving as Medical Director of HealthSpan Sciences and Director of Corporate Development at Ambry Genetics.

 

Dr. Cockrell has a longstanding interest in translating advances in biomedical science into clinical applications that extend healthy human lifespan. He has been active in organizations focused on biomedical innovation and participates in the aging research and longevity investment communities.

 

He earned his MD from the Keck University of Southern California School of Medicine.
