Craig Walsh, Ph.D.

Scientific Advisory Board Member

Dr. Walsh received his Ph.D. in Immunology from UCLA, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at UCSD. He has been a member of the faculty of the School of Biological Sciences since 2001 where his laboratory investigates the mechanisms that prevent autoimmune responses. He is also a member of the Sue & Bill Gross Stem Cell Research Center. He is a member of the UC Irvine Institute for Immunology, where he served as co-interim Director in 2014. He has been the Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Research Center since 2013. Dr. Walsh currently serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate Education in the School of Biological Sciences and was formerly the Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Engagement.
